Can you recommend your PED in the suffolk area
We are not happy at all with our PED office and need to switch fast. Can you recommend you ped in the suffolk area and if you have a phone number and what doctor you see and if you know there hours they are open till. It would be such a great help!
The practice we are at now has way to many doctors and rarely see the same doctor so we get so many different options. DD still at 1year has a milk allergy and have been told 3 different things to do now and poor DD has been switch to milk to soy and back on formula because we have seen three different doctors in a matter of a week. I want to see one doctor and get one answer. I'm so upset and just would love to switch doctors this week and bring her in to see the new doctor. Sorry for my rant I'm just really mad and upset and hope you ladies can help with some recommendations.

Re: Can you recommend your PED in the suffolk area
i take DD to Dr. Gelit-Caduri in commack. where are you located?
she is the only doctor therefore, she works ALL hours. we once brought DD in at 8 pm! she is AMAZING and really really loves each one of her patients. she takes a very personal approach in her practice and my daughter loves her and feels comfortable with her. she is always available for us when we have stupid questions or major concerns.
call her: 631-499-4700

Hey Tara! We go to: Dr.Benitt, Dr. Rubin, Dr.Bowers & Dr. Doughty Friendly Medical Group Hallock Ave, stony brook (across from movie theater) 689-6226
I usually see Dr. Benitt, and I feel like he is very thorough and patient, and great w/ DS. THey are open pretty late, though I don't know the hours off the top of my head (either 8 or 9 most nights I think).
I usually try to get the first appt of the day and never have a wait.

We go here too. I usually see Dr Doughty. I am very happy with the practice, but sadie's never really been "sick" so I can't really speak to their ability to diagnose and all be on the same page.

Re: Can you recommend your PED in the suffolk area
I use Dr. Gerberg from Huntington Pediatrics in Huntington Village. It's him and a nurse practioner. He has walk in hours M-F 8-845AM and his regular office hours are 9-5 or 9-6. I believe they close from 123-130 for lunch. Also Sat. hours from 9-1 (I think)
Their number is 631 427 0530

Re: Can you recommend your PED in the suffolk area
We go to Mid Suffolk Pediatrics. They have a bunch of doctors on staff but I only see a couple of them. I am always given a choice of who I want to see so I always choose Dr Manners or his daughter, Tracy Manners. I always feel like my kids are in good hands. He takes his time and never pushes meds which I like. If they need it that's one thing but if it will resolve on its own then I prefer to let nature take its course. They have 2 offices but I use the one at 1770 Motor Pkwy in Happague. 631-434-1770

We live in Medford and go to Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine on Union Ave in Holbrook. There are several Dr's in there. I've seen a few and like them all. I now always request Dr. Lafamina, I personal think she's the best! 631-588-4442

Re: Can you recommend your PED in the suffolk area
I use SV Pediatrics in Patchogue. I really like them, if you have a question or your child is sick, they will call you back right away. The doctors and staff are very friendly. It does not take long at all to get an appointment. When you call you can choose which doctor you want to see. They do recommend though as a new patient to meet the staff, but that is up to you.

I love Dr. George's office - we moved from Grello Pediatrics when Dr. George opened his own office. The front office is friendly and easy to work with, the nurses are pleasant and every doctor we've seen has been more than competent. The kids like Dr. George best - but they also really like Dr. VanCura. They just added a new doctor - Dr. Trevidi I think? He's very friendly and seems to be a very good doctor. The boys both liked him a lot. I like them so much I actually travel from Sayville to West Islip to stay with them!

We use him too and he's always been great about calling me back after hours. He just added another doctor to his practice that I have yet to meet.
