heartburn
this heartburn is really kicking my butt!! Anyone have any tried and true fixes for never ending heart burn??!! Please help me put out this fire!!

I have the same issue. My doctor prescriped Pepcid, told me to take 30 minutes before my dinner and it has helped me big time. Before I couldnt sleep, always feeling uncomfortable. But now i am doing much better.

I had it BAD with DS and Zantac was the only thing that worked for me. It hasn't started this PG, but I know I will have it again!!

I have had HORRIBLE horrible heartburn and sever acid reflux and the only thing that even makes it manageable is Zantac.

I always use Maalox and it works great for me.
I THINK my midwife recommended papaya extract.... eek! I have a horrible memory. Maybe something to ask you dr about if you would like to find something more natural, especially if you have heartburn ALL the time.

i took tums and would chase w/ a glass of milk or something that was dairy.

I have been drowning myself with organic whole milk. the thought alone of tums makes me nauseous  I really would like to stay away from meds if I can but its not looking very hopeful since I still have a long long ways to go :( Thanx ladies!!
