18 ww points per day

Does anyone else on ww get the minimum points per day? I feel like it is impossible not to go over. By midday, I usually have eaten 7 points--an that is just oatmeal, yogurt and a luna bar.

Any ideas for a filling, but low point breakfast? I'm starving over here!

Shredded Wheat is VERY filling. I used t have a bowl every morning.

You could also do egg whites and whole wheat toast (but honestly I dont find them all that filling).

I would continue to eat as much as you do in the morning and just try to limit your points later in the day. It sounds like you're a morning eater (like me) and there's nothing wrong with that!

don't forget about your 35 pts allowance which you should use. That would tack another 5pts per day average.

you get flex pts..use them. You will still lose weight if you use them.

I personally don't. Neither does DH.

I have been maintaining my weight for the past 2-3 weeks because I started tapping into those extra points.

Are you doing any activity?

At least if you earn some points there, you can get an extra snack/meal.

Re: 18 ww points per day

I've always lost using the extra 35 points.

Also- A luna bar, while delish, isn't very filling at ALL. And it's loaded with points (4!).

To compare, you could have a Luna bar or a 4 point breakfast that I eat some mornings is: 1 egg, 1 slice 2% american cheese, 1 light Thomas English Muffin or 2 slices of Nature's Own double fiber bread. To make it 3 points, I use egg beaters.

18 points a day is HARD.... but totally doable if you use the WW "filling foods" list.

Re: 18 ww points per day

I get 19 so i kinda feel your pain.

I'm a big fan of broth. Especially in this weather. You can put some thin sliced mushrooms and some scallions in it and have a 0 point addition to your lunch.

I agree with the pp that breakfast- can't go wrong with eggwhites. Fruit is always another good option. I

I know I kinda harp on these things but im a HUGE fan of the trader joe's chicken cilantro mini wontons. I just made wonton soup with them today for lunch and they were SOOOOOO good!
Its 1pt for 4 of them. They're little but in a soup it helps.
