I still cry everytime I think of her...
My mom passed away in 2002 and I still can't help but cry everytime I think of her or speak of her...
It sucks because I don't think of her as often as I want to because of this. I know she is with me always, but I can't help but miss her so much it brings me to tears every time.
Anyone else struggling with this?

I feel the same way. I lost my mom in 2004.
I miss her so much. She was a good friend as well as a good mom. Not only did we talk every day, but she and my dad lived with me.
She never knew that I got engaged and married. She never really got to know my DH, since she was sick already when we started dating.
I know she would have been happy to see her spinster daughter finally settle down and get married (I was 41!)
Her grandchildren were 3 and 6 when she died. My niece doesn't really remember her, only the stories that we tell her.
Every once in a while I light a candle in front of her picture. Tonight I light a candle to mark the anniversary of her death.
eta : Wednesday is the 2nd anniversary of MIL's passing. I really hate this time of year........

Hello, my mom died in 2006 suddenly. She was my best friend, pretty much my only friend. At least one that knew me and loved me for me. I always heard of unconditional love, but until she died did I truly understand the full meaning. I understand what you are going through. I am so tired of being sad when I miss her. I too, cry all the time. Guess we are not alone.

i just found this post and wanted to send  
i know exactly how you feel, word for word.
we lost my dad in 2003. whenever my mind starts to wander and i start to think of him ... and how we lost him ... and his last few days ... and seeing him in the hospital after he passed i just cant go there. i get lost in it all and i cant, i wont let myself go there 99% of the time.
it is still very real 7 years later. sometimes i wonder if i have ever really dealt with it  if i havent, i dont wont to even know what its like to "really" deal with it
i dont even know if that makes sense, but for you!

My father died almost 2 years ago and just today I had a nice little bawlfest. I don't think it will ever get easier
