okay well we saw Dr Kofinas yesterday and apparently things are even worse than we thought. It appears that not one but both babies placentas have separated from the uterine wall and are each only functioning at about 50%. Appears the other 50% of each placenta is dead already. I also seem to have slight placenta previa. The Dr put me on Lovenox injections 2x a day and had me go give 35 vials of blood this morning for extensive testing. Obviously the testing I had done previously with another Dr was not quite the tip of the ice berg!! So at this point we need to stop the clotting in the placenta so no more damage is done and hopefully the placenta keeps growing w/o any further damage and the babies are able to thrive. I am on STRICT bedrest for now until the placental issues are stabilized. The Dr seems to think we have a chance of fixing this but we need to be aggressive. I will see him again next Thursday and hopefully things are looking okay. But both babies had good heart rates yesterday and even measured a day ahead of schedule so they are doing well so far. God willingly they will continue to do well and we will get this whole placenta thing straightened out. Keep the prayers coming we could definitely use them!! Thanks Ladies!
