Re: bottle?
I was about to buy glass born free a few months ago, but then I didnt bc I knew DS would be holding them himself soon. Glass just made me nervous so I got the plastic. He drinks out of born free which is wide and also regular thin ones too. As long as he's drinking, he doesnt care. I got the wide when I was BFing though so it would be similar.

Re: bottle?
I never got glass b/c it is just so heavy for me to carry around and then for the baby to hold when they start to hold the bottle themselves. Then when they get older I was afraid they would thrown it (like kids will do) and it would break.
I have tried both the wide and regular bottles and found really no difference. Just whatever you like better, or which ever will fit in your cupholders and/or diaper bag better.
PS....I just made sure the plastic ones were BPA Free.

Re: bottle?
Years ago they only had glass bottles bc plastic was unsafe. Now they have BPA free plastic bottles and they are fine. So I guess they still continue both.
