Newbie here with some questions
I am in my mid thirties and just started TTC. For those who are my age, are you finding it takes 2-3 months or longer for the BFP? Do you think it will take longer or it really all depends? I think my ob.gyn said that if we try for 6 months and nothing then need to discuss other options. I am hoping it does not get to that point....

Re: Newbie here with some questions
I am 29 and just got a BFP for my 2nd child. It took us 4 months in total. Honestly you never know how long it will take. Hopefully for you it will be very short, however if you are trying for more than 6 months I agree you should let your DR know.
Wishing you lots of

Re: Newbie here with some questions
I'm 33 and we are starting our 4th month now. It's not always an age thing, I know people younger than may that took over 9 months, and then my mom, for example, had a surprise pregnancy at 41. It's mainly about timing. We are all learning that regardless of age, you only have a 15-25% chance of conceiving each month, and the odds can decrease due to age or other factors, so no matter it can be hard. Under 35, I was told to wait a year before seeing the doctor, but I too will see them after 6 months if necessary, (praying it's not) and over 35, to see them after 6 months of trying. Lots of to you!

Re: Newbie here with some questions
I agree its not all about age, although statictics say it is. It it makes u feel better, i conceived my first DS a month before my 35 birthday on the first try. I had just stopped taking the pill that month, and it just happened. So you never know. I just turned 38 and i'm praying it happens fast for me again..Good luck to you!

Re: Newbie here with some questions
I am 31 and my doctor told me that my age is not an issue in any way. I am currently in the 2ww of month 6.
