Verizon Fios
Can you negotiate pricing or get more incentives then what they offer you upfront and if so what is the best way to go about negotiating? Should I be using a salesperson or is it ok to do everything online?

Re: Verizon Fios
My sister said they are offering 70 bucks per year for service without the fee's and additional services... that is pretty good. Go to the website and see what it is.

Re: Verizon Fios
i heard online is the best but if you live by the lakegrove mall stop by the Fios kioks sp right in front of the Apple store... Maybe you can get a better deal from them....

Re: Verizon Fios
I did everything online. I already had Verizon for phone and cell and DSL line, so I was able to get a $84.99 triple play rate per month for 2 years, with free DVR for 6 months.

Re: Verizon Fios
I sell Fios....the only additional thing you can get online is the extra $5 off...you just have to be careful when placing the order...more times than not, I find that people get confused with the website and wind up ordering the wrong things. The only time you may be additional offers is if you live in an apt building that is new to getting fios and they have special salespeople come out and offer extras.
If you have any questions, let me know....happy to help

Re: Verizon Fios
I just ordered Fios for my new apt. I called and spoke to a rep. I am paying $118 including taxes for the middle triple play package (includes Showtime, Flix and TMC and internet is 25/25 megabytes whatever that means). It is a price guarantee for 2 years but no contract. I could have gotten free DVR for a year instead of the price guarantee but the rep said its more expensive in the end. Also, my apt is already fiber ready since the owner had it and there is some other deal with my builiding so I got a $20 discount. She gave me HBO free for 3 months (16.99 thereafter). Not sure if I could have negotiated more but its over $30 less than I am paying with Cablevision now and I now have phone service, which I don't with Cablevision, and faster internet.
