Advantix or Frontline?
Which do you like better? We used Advantix while dog had fleas and theeeeyyyy'rrrre back (even after following up with oral pill). I know it's hard to break the cycle, but it's time for a new dose, so I'm not sure if I should switch to Frontline. I've been reading a lot online about people liking that better.

We switched to Advantix for the additional protection (its supposed to protect from bites too) and I didnt like my dogs reaction. They kept biting after I applied it. So we went back to Frontline. I have 3 dogs and we've never had a flea issue.

I work at a Veterinary hospital and the Dr. I work for prefers Frontline. HOWEVER I have worked for a different vet in the past and he recommened Advantix lol. I guess it can go either way..

I prefer Advantix. We have used both and Ive never had a problem w/fleas on either but we live in a VERY wooded area and my dogs get a TON of ticks. I find that the Advantix works better at killing the ticks before they become engorged.

i personally like Revolution... but thats also because my dog was on heart worm meds... and it takes care of heartworms, fleas, and other parasites.....
Revolution is a prescription-only, FDA-approved medication available only through a veterinarian – and is NOT a pesticide registered by the EPA
