How long after a natural miscarriage can you try again?
I was very lucky that I didn't need a d&c and things passed on their own. How long did your drs tell you to wait before TTC again?

I am pretty confident its 2 months all around. I didnt have a d &c either but they said wait 2 cycles. I didnt get the impression it was different.

I had a natural m/c on 8/11. My OB told me to wait two cycles. My second AF came on 11/5. So, while it was two cycles, it was closer to three months. The waiting was hard but I wanted to listen to my OB and give my uterine lining time to build back up.

I had a natural m/c on 8/11. My OB told me to wait two cycles. My second AF came on 11/5. So, while it was two cycles, it was closer to three months. The waiting was hard but I wanted to listen to my OB and give my uterine lining time to build back up.
Silly me! I just realized you are right. Just waiting for AF is an effort. Its 2 cycles but more like 3 months for sure.

My dr said I needed to wait until after af came once. Mine was natural.

I had a natural m/c at 6 weeks. My HCG was at 0 within 2 weeks. My dr. said there was no rhyme or reason for my m/c, but it is just something that happens. My dr told us to wait 2 weeks. She said that many dr.s tell you to wait a cycle or 2 so they have AF on record, but medically, it is not necessary. (what my dr. said) We waited the 2 weeks and got pregnant again before AF ever came. We have a healthy pregnancy now.

i am sorry i am new to this
i have a question: so when you were actually bleeding and miscarrying, it is NOT counted as AF? you have to wait for another full month to get AF and then try?

you mean 2 weeks AFTER hcg was 0? or UNTIL it got to 0 and once it was 0, you tried?

They don't count the miscarriage bleeding as af. They tell you to wait for af so they can accurately date the pregnancy.

I asked the dr at my last appt. They said your bleeding for the MC is NOT considered one of the months when they say 2 months.

My dr. said we were able to try 2 weeks from the date of the m/c..... as long as my hcg was 0. My hcg was very low. Within those 2 weeks, it was already at 0. So, after the 2 weeks from the date of the m/c we tried and got preg. I never got AF. The m/c was the end of Aug and by the mid of Sept I had a positive .
