Introductions at the Workplace
Just curious, if you just started working or a new VP just started work in your department, do you approach him to introduce yourself?
I'm struggling with whether I should do this as a new VP started work here two weeks ago and I don't know if I should just approach him. He wasn't introduced to me and I missed the introduction meeting... :P
It would be a no brainer (I won't since I"m only a consultant) if I didn't sit right outside his office!

I would introduce myself just as you introduced your problem.
Hi, my name is so and so and I just wanted to introduce myself since I haven't gotten a chance to yet and missed the introduction meeting.
