Team Green - tell me we're not crazy
We had the Level 2 ultrasound yesterday and everything looks perfect. Over the past few months we went back & forth about finding out the sexes, but decided to wait. We did that with DD and, for us, it was the best thing. I know it would make it so much easier to plan things to know what they are, especially being that they are twins, but I have neutral stuff from DD and I like most of the neutral things I'm seeing in BRU now, so the only thing is clothes and the room, which isn't a big deal to me. I'm just anticipating all of the annoying comments from people. But i can handle that too. So, please someone who has BTDT, tell me we're not nuts.

You have no idea...we almost caved sitting there waiting for the ultrasound tech. Then when she told us to look away, THAT was hard, knowing it was right there on the screen!

I think it is great! If I wasn't moving weeks before they were coming I would have totally tried to do it. But since my life is so nutty right now I needed to know!

You're not nuts! I did it too....and I'm a neurotic planner. It was the best moment ever to hear "it's a boy" and then..."another boy! Boys, you have a brother!"
Well worth it!

Re: Team Green - tell me we're not crazy
STAY STRONG!!!
I didn't find out and it is the absolute best!!!!
What other surprise as an adult to you get? This is it!! Don't find out, there is nothing like the feeling you get when they scream out what it is, I promise.
It was my reason to push! After I pushed out the first baby I felt like throwing the towel in, but I kept telling myself that I had to push the other baby out, I was dying to know!! Besides, its a great story to tell your children, co-workers, family, friends, etc.
I loved when random people would play doctor and tell me what I am having just by how I carried. I'm honest when I say that NO ONE guessed .
Seriously, its the best moment!!!

i give you a lot of credit!!!! i myself couldn't have done it. this time around it was my 3rd and 4th so honestly no matter what they were i didn't care as long as they were healthy. they couldn't tell until my 22nd week and when they said one was a girl, i was in shock and then when they said both were girls i was in total shock!!!! good for you!!! you wait if you want to wait!!!!!

Re: Team Green - tell me we're not crazy
Thanks. ladies. I do remember the surprise when we had DD. I ended up with a c-section and it made it even more exciting and distracted me from being scared of the whole process. I agree that there was nothing like that moment when the doctor said "It's a GIRL!!" I know with twins it would make so much of the planning easier if we knew, but this will be the last children I have, so I'm glad we're hanging strong.

Re: Team Green - tell me we're not crazy
I'm staying team green too and it is hard!!! Im 28 weeks now and at every sonogram I almost cave.....but at this point I really want to hold out. I found out with DD and kind of regretted it....I wish I had that surprise. I know it will be worth it in the end....but its hard now. I don't care about the planning aspect of it...Im fine with neutral items and I know my mom will go nuts after the babies are born with clothes, blankets, etc... But I feel a little less connected not knowing who they are. With DD I could picture a little girl and prepare for that. With this pregnancy Im excited but just don't know what to expect.
