I could use some feedback
ok hear it goes. I live in a 3 bedroom ranch my room, playroom & the boys share a room. My boys will be turning 3 & 4 they are 11 months 2 days apart. We have 2 toddler beds set up in there room. There room is not big @ all in fact it is only 9 x 9.5 . I am so undecided on if I should get bunk beds or put them in separate rooms & purchase 2 twin beds which means I would loose the playroom & all the toys will have to get split between both boys room. The bunk beds would be a tight fit which mean I might have to knock the wall down between the playroom & there bedroom making it 1 big room but Before I go & spend a ridiculous amount of money on redoing 1 room or 2 I need help making a decision. Thank you for any feedback :)

Re: I could use some feedback
For resale I dont think I would go and make a 3bedroom home into a 2 bedroom home. Even though one room will be quite large, it will turn off alot of potential buyers from even looking at your home.
I would get twin bunk beds whcih could eventually be split apart into separate twin beds and make due for now.

Do you have a basement for the toys/playroom?

Re: I could use some feedback
I have already thought about that we have to stay here for @least another 4 years if or when we decide to sell we can just throw another wall back up to turn back into a 3 br. I have to do what works for us right now. Thank you for your feedback though :)

Unfortunaly no basement. We have to stay here for @least another 4 years. If we decide to stay here we plan on adding on.

Re: I could use some feedback
I am guessing the playroom is not bigger than the other room? Tough....I think I would knock the wall down...they sound like they are pretty close and would miss each other.

Re: I could use some feedback
I would get bunk beds in their present room and then I'd keep the other room as a playroom..

I would think that a bunk bed would take up less floor space than two toddler beds, no?

Re: I could use some feedback
Keep them together, with bunk beds, ones that can bet separated would be best so if they get older and don't want to share anymore you are fine.
If you have trouble fitting that in their room now with all of the furniture maybe move a dresser or two into the playroom.

Re: I could use some feedback
What about a bed like this? It looks pretty small since the ladder doesn't stick out and you can use the trundle for clothes/storage and maybe get rid of a piece of furniture elsewhere?
