2 month shots: what to expect?

Tomorrow is DD's 8 week shots Chat Icon I am really dreading this. Of course my brain goes to worst case scenario!

What should we be prepared for? Temp? Sleepy? Cranky?

I was the same way... totally panicked. He barely cried and then slept a lot, to be honest he slept better than he ever did before, I wanted to go back for more shots the next dayChat Icon

Re: 2 month shots: what to expect?

We just had ours yesterday and it wasn't bad at all. Its two shots and one oral. DD cried for about 4mins then fell asleep. She slept most of yesterday and today. She did get a little cranky about 5 hours after the shots but I gave her a little tylenol and she took a nap. All in all it wasnt bad at all try not to stress it.

Re: 2 month shots: what to expect?

My son hasnt had a reaction to any shots so far (he is 7 months), no fever, not cranky or tired. I always play and joke with him to distract him when they give it to him. Chat Icon

DS gets reactions from shots. The worst was the two month shot for him, he got a fever and was really out of it. He didn't have a reaction at the 3 or 4 month shots but just got a reaction from his 5 month shots. I really think it depends on the kid. Some kids have reactions and others don't. I hope you one of the lucky ones. Chat Icon
