Gastro/ Suppositories

So Ds was diagnosed with reflux, is on zantac and supp. 3x a day to relieve gas, also started two teaspoons of oatmeal in each bottle ( drinks 40z every 3 hrs) . My question for moms who have also used the suppositories is... how long do you continue to do this? DS will be 4 months and I am wondering how long this continues?

My DS is 2 months and I was told to give him suppositories up to 5x a day, although I have never given more than 3 and I try and do less than that each day unless he is uncomfortable. I have been doing this for about a month. The gastro told me that hopefully by the time he is 4 months and starts food I will not have to give them as much and his problems will work themselves out. If he goes by himself I don't give him a suppository.
