Growth spurt ?

Hi. I have a question. I believe my daughter is going through a growth spurt. She wants to eat every 2.5 hours like clockwork during the day but won't consume as much formula as she normally does. Basically she wants to eat more often but not quite the same volume. In addition she is not napping as well. I am curious if any other moms have experienced this? She used to go 3-4 hours between feeds

sounds like it...it's a cluster feed. how old is she?

She will technically be 3 months on the 19th but she was born in October and there are 5 weeks in that month so I was rounding her up to 3 months.

I would chalk it up to a growth spurt.. keep offering more than she is drinking though..dont' cut down on what you are giving her.

My DD was born October 30th and I think she is having a growth spurt as well... We increased her formula...

She hasn't been sleeping well and is tired and cranky...

We were getting some good stretches at night and the last few nights she has been up more than normal...

I am hoping its a growth spurt and not a regression in sleeping...

plus... she visually looks bigger to me...lol. We just switched her to 3-6 month clothes and I feel she is already getting too big for them...lol.

I hear you. Size 1 diapers can't contain my DD either. Size 3-6 fits great, size 6 months still roomy I roll the cuffs up. Lol my baby cranky too. I wanted to smash my head into a wall yesterday. The weather is not helping. Oct 30 was my due date. My baby came oct 19 thank god because she was 7.13
