Bloomberg snow - vent
As I was watching his press conference yesterday, I heard him thank many people. All except for.... you guessed it, teachers. He made it clear that they had to open due to too many parents not haviing childcare....and how too many parents would loose a days pay.
How about thanking the teachers who woke up at 5AM, shoveled themselves out of their homes, dug out their cars, and drove around for what felt like forever to find a parking spot.
BUT..he thanked the sanitation for finally doing their jobs.
Unbelievable.
THanks..vent over.

So many people will say we were "just doing our job" but I happen to know many people who called in to their job yesterday bc of the snow, just sayin

I did get an email from Michael Mulgrew...and...for the record..by my school in Queens...the streets were not immaculate as were touted on the news..
