All the ladies that love to cook....
I need help please. A friend of mine slipped on the ice over the weekend and broken her leg She has 4 little ones at home...all under 6! Anyway I want to cook her some meals that her DH can take out of the freezer & heat up in a few mins. Her only aversion is hot/spicy.....
I am not the best cook so something that will not challenge my limited abilities so far I am thinking
Lasagna
Beef stew
I would appreciate any other ideas...
TIA!

Re: All the ladies that love to cook....
I agree with any kind of casserole type dish.
Also good is pot roast, chicken soup with some crusty bread and a big green salad, some fried chicken which can be eaten hot or cold.

Cheesy Broc Chix
Cooked chicken cut into bite sized pieces (I like to boil my chix in garlic powder, onion powder and a shot of tabasco)
Put Chicken in a casserole, add frozen broccoli. Top with Ragu Cheddar Cheese Sauce (same spot as regular marinara sauce). Top with breadcrumbs and bake until bubbly.
Chicken Meatballs - I made these for DS when he was young, froze great. Let me know if you want recipe. I posted it a bunch of times.
Just a thought - you might want to use disposable tins/trays - less dishes for hubby and you don't have to worry about getting your stuff back.
