Re: another smithtown question
it's near the high school (one of them, anyway) yes, nice area, but also can be a pain with a lot of high school traffic.

it's a western part of Smithtown, and yes, relatively close to Commack. It's also near Jericho Tpke

Re: another smithtown question
I wouldn't recommend living on Morewood (traffic) but the surrounding streets are nice. I grew up just a few blocks away (smithtown zip, commack schools)

Re: Morewood Section of Smitown
We rented in the area briefly last year and we really like it over there.
Morewood and Plymouth are busier roads (morewood is a cut-through for lots of HS students and Plymouth is a double yellow without the paint), but I'd take any of the back roads. There are a lot of colonials, splits, and hi-ranches.
If we're staying on LI, that's one of our top location choices. (DH and I both grew up in Kings Park, our families are still there.)

Re: Morewood Section of Smitown
I live in the morewood section and love the area. I actually hate my house because I am in a high rach and hate the layout but I am torn to leave because I love the area and I love having sidewalks.
