carpet for stairs
We need to have our basement steps carpeted and I am also considering runners on the steps going upstairs. Can anyone recommend a place that is reasonable $$ wise and could come quickly?
anyone ever use Empire?

I used a small carpeting store in Bethpage for an Oriental style runner. I also priced it out at Home Depot (Expo at the time). The same rug was cheaper at HD, but with installation it ended up to be more affordable at the carpet store. I can't remember the name but I can look it up. The runner cost about $800-$900 installed.
