Are SO upset when school is closed?!? They're "playing school" now.

MY son cryed yesterday because I called to make sure he had school they said YES so we got dress and drove over to find a not on the door that it was canceled, he was crying all the way home

The ONLY time Robbie gets upset is if he is missing gym or Mathletes. Any other day and he is celebrating (like today).
Noah is put out if they cancel on Pizza Delivery day (they order from a local pizzeria every 3rd Tuesday) - so he's fine today!

My son felt that way in pre-k, but not once he hit elementary school. Now he does the happy dance when he is off.

When my son was in Preschool he'd get sad. Since he started kindergarten he has been begging for days off. I was so happy to tell him today and he pouted and said awww....why is it on a gym day? I don't want to miss school on Mondays or Thursdays because they are gym days! haha...he much prefer to miss Library Tuesdays!

My kids are in 3rd grade and Kindergarten.
They were near tears that school was closed.
I have no idea where they came from.
