cautiously optimistic - update beta #2
I've kept myself from posting because I'm so afraid to jinx this, but I just can't hold out anymore...
Wed + HPT
Thurs + HPT beta 143 (14 dp iui)
Fri + HPT
Sat + HPT beta... NO RESULTS YET!!!
Sun + HPT
So, now I'm out of HPT's, but I think they've served their purpose. I'm so scared to get too excited. I was really hoping I'd get my second beta results yesterday, but we all know how well Quest processes stat. I would have preferred to see 2nd beta results before posting this, but I'll just have to update tomorrow!
2/14- I got the beta results from Saturday this morning. 369! So, I guess that's good. I'm just nervous that my next appointment is not until the 28th (ultrasound)! Yet another 2ww...

ive never had a problem with quest betas, always gotten them same day. what did your RE say about it??

She wasn't surprised because it was Saturday. I had a problem getting the initial results on Thursday, but the office harassed Quest for them and got them. I don't know that she tried as hard from home yesterday. I'm hoping that the results will be in her fax machine Mon morning...

Yes, natural IUI (only did trigger); no b2b IUI, only 1.

Thanks for all of the support everyone. I'm glad I shared my news. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. I'm sooooo nervous! Knowing me, I'll only relax for a second after seeing a high beta, then I'll be worried for the 1st sono, and then the end of the first trimester, and then.... Oy, this is going to be a long 9 months!

that's how it always is!! sometimes i feel like waiting for the BFP is so hard.. but the waiting AFTER the BFP is also just as hard!! you never really relax, the anxiety just changes over to other things!!
