Re: Booster Seats

We have a Maxi Cosi Rodi which is "fine." It's basic and does the job. The other kid has a Recaro Vivo which is GREAT. It's extremely well made and more comfy, plus the seatbelt never twists in the shoulder guide which is great because it happens with the other and annoys me!

We have the same above, in different patterns. L has the Jenna pattern and A's is black and gray.

Re: Booster Seats

Thanks girls - I need to get them this weekend. They are both def. outgrowing their current seats and Ava keeps asking for a new seat lol.

Did you guys research ratings at all - I have been but all I seem to find is customer reviews.

DD technically still fits in her carseat, but kept asking to get a new seat and be able to use the regular seatbelt. I took advantage of the BRU trade-in event and got my 25% off coupon for this (I traded in a pack and play). I read mostly customer reviews, but Graco is such a well known product, I didn't hesitate. My dad has the Graco nautilus for DD in his car, so he converted it from the 5 point harness to the booster for when DD is in his car too.

Re: Booster Seats

I did research ratings, but of course I don't remember what I found LOL. I just know there was a reason why I bought those seats.

The ones you have tested as a best bet according to the IIHS. I'm leaning towards the Recaro but I'll take the kids with me so they can sit in them and let me know which one is the most comfy.

We just bought the Recaro. haven't put it in the car yet it is still in the living room Chat Icon
DH did a lot of research and picked this one (the recaro vivo) DS sits in it in the living room and loves it!

(we got it as diapers.com and used a 15% off promo code b/c BBB didn't have it in black in stock)

try to steer them toward the Recaro. The seat belt strap twisting is a major PITA! Chat Icon

Re: Booster Seats

I just bought 2 graco nautilus, mostly becasue they were recommended on here! K still needs the 5 point harness and this seat does that and transitions to just the belt booster. It also changes to a backless booster after that.
