Anyone ever use the Podee system?
I saw these bottles on the BRU website and i am thinking of trying them in hopes that it will make it easier for me to feed them together when DH isn't home. Right now i am just propping up the bottle for one while burping the other, but sometimes the bottle falls or it just doesn't work right. It got great reviews on the BRU website. Some people said it was a little hard for the babies to suck the milk out but overall they loved it. Just wondering if any of you other multiple mommies have tried the Podee system and what you thought about it. TIA!

I bought them, used them a few times and they were ok.
More of a waste. I just ended up propping when I could, it was hard to feed two babies at same time.

Re: Anyone ever use the Podee system?
How are you propping? I used to use a baby blanket and make a well for the bottle to sit in and they never fell. I have also heard the podees are hard for them to get the milk out of and a PITA to clean

I have two used bottle props that I am done with - where are you located? The ones that are like round pillows with holes in them. We used them every single day for like 9 months. They were a lifesaver. One is white and one is pink.

I was using burp cloths. For the most part it works, but sometimes the bottles do fall and it's just annoying. I will try a baby blanket.

I actually have 2 of these. But how do you prop the bottle up with them? When i tried to use them, i felt like the babies were taking in too much air because the nipple of the bottle was facing upward a little instead of downwards.

Re: Anyone ever use the Podee system?
I used the Boppy pillows combined with the bottle props. Like I would put the baby in the boppy kind of angled, and put the prop up on the side of the boppy. So the nipple would be facing down into their mouths. I wish I had a picture on this computer.

I think I get what you're saying. I am going to try this next feed. Thank you

*Not a multiple mom, just happened to look on this board*
I used the podee for my daughter. The main reason for using it was it was very helpful for gassy babies. The one thing to know is that you need to "start" the bottle by sucking the liquid up to the top until they get the hang of it.

Re: Anyone ever use the Podee system?
We tried the podee's and it was such a pain in the butt to get it started and then if the baby didn't start sucking right away we'd lose it and have to start it up again. I didn't think it was worth the effort or cost after all was said and done.
We found propping using a folded blanket with or without the boppee bottle prop best.
One of the easiest places to prop is the car seat using the bundle me to form the well for the bottle to sit in. The cradle swing worked well for that too.
No matter what, you just have to pay attention because the bottle can fall out, or shift and then the forumla is leaking out. My DD twin is a head mover so she is always harder to prop.
Now that they are older (3.5 mo), I find it just as easy to start one and get them half way before swapping to the other, etc.
I also find it easy to have on next to me on a boppy, and the other nestled in the crook of my bent leg, holding the bottle for each. I've done that while ready a book to my older daughter or talking on the phone even.
You'll figure out what works best for you! Good luck!

Re: Anyone ever use the Podee system?
we used the podees but it was hard for the boys to suck out of them until they were a little older (over 4 months). it definitely made feeding them MUCH easier! now we use these bottle rings i ordered from amazon and i prop the bottles for them. they are also starting to hold their bottles too so we dont use the podees anymore (they are almost 9 months).
