Hicksville sd
Does anyone know anything about the Hicksville SD? How does it compare to other districts on LI? Any info would be wonderful.

DHs cousins went there and they both got caught up in bad crowds and did bad things. They didn't get much out of their schooling with the excption of partying. But their parents weren't involved at all either.
My friend works at theHS and absolutely hates it there. But we do have friends with a ds in elementary school and they are very happy (and very involved)
I think (like everywhere ) parent involvement is key.
