Unemployment
Does anyone know if we are able to collect unemployment if we are excessed? Last year I was hearing mixed things about it. If anyone has any info on this or experience with it, I would really appreciate it.

Yes, but if you are on salary (not a per diem position) you can't start collecting until Sept since your salary is techinically for the full year. You should apply mid August for it.

I applied last June, the day after the last day of school. And when I actually found a job they stopped paying me when I made more than was allowed....so it worked for me!
