Birthday Party location for a 10 year old Girl?
DD and I have begun the discussions of her birthday this year, she will be 10. She has thrown around ideas of karaoke, dancing, Dave n Busters, something girly, but not too girly. Any suggestions?

My niece had a roller skating party for her 10th!
I second that. My cousin had them for both her DD's. Everyone had a blast.

Re: Birthday Party location for a 10 year old Girl?
I am not sure if you live close to my shop, but we (Darlings & Divas) just started doing themes for "tween" girls.
We are a vendor here, and the latest parties can be seen on our facebook page.
Just this past Friday we did a Project Runway inspired party.
Each time (there were 3 of them) were given a bag of mystery items out of which they had to fashion an outfit on one of their team members.
The teams got fabric remnants, tulle, ribbon, duct tape (colored), etc and had 45 minutes and the assistant of the hostesses to come up with looks.
Then, they were able to use items from our Diva Lounge for accessories and direct our staff as to how makeup and hair should go.
They had a BLAST!
We also do T-Shirt Design parties, jewelry, PJ parties, Glammed out parties, etc..
Parties include mini manicures, light makeup application, glitter in hair, etc.

For my daughter's 10th birthday, she took 2 friends into the city to the American Girl store for lunch.
What about a movie party? Roller skating sounds fun too!

My friend did a spa party for her DD - they loved it. Don't remember which spa they went to. Believe they did nails, hair, etc.

I was going to suggest Sassy's place. I've never been but it sounds so cute. I think it comes down to if it's a mix of boys & girls or just girls.
The rollerskating parties are a huge hit with all ages too. My kids have been to a few and they are fun, I even strapped on the old rollerblades and was showing off/praying to not embarrass myself
ETA: I see a 2 yr old post of mine is in related threads and I had to LOL. The things we post and care about that are so small. I was asking if I can use butterfly cups at a bday party with some 5 yr old boys coming All I have to do is do a search on LIF to see all the small stuff I've sweated over the years.

Not sure where your located but I had just gone to paint a piece in E. Northport and they do birthday parties as well. They get to pick a ceramic, paint it anyway they like and they get to take something home as a reminder of the party.

Re: Birthday Party location for a 10 year old Girl?
what about a co-ed sleep over.. i remember back when i was her age that is when the co-ed sleep overs started...
everyone would come over, pig out on pizza & chips, have cake, watch movies, and boys would sleep in the living room and us girls slept in the den or the bed room.
