1st Birthday?

Hi All!

So I'm starting to plan my son's 1st birthday for June and need help on where to have it.

We're about 100 people and don't have the room at our house, so we need another venue. Ideally I'd like some place where all the kids can play, as there are 15-20 kids under 7 that will be attending, so a restaurant is out.

I was looking at the parks in Nassau, but seems like there is some crazy process where you have to wait in line for hours to get a bracelet to submit your permit application?? Also, don't want to have to worry about rain, so was thinking a Knights of Columbus or something, but haven't been to a nice one..

Any ideas would be helpful.

I would definitely look into a K of C or VFW hall for that amount of people. The price might be more reasonable than other catering halls or restaurants. I don't have specific recommendations though - I've only been to ones in Brooklyn and Queens.
