Since DH was unemployed last year I wanted to make sure I cover everything.
Car expense
Train expense
Mags and publications
Online memberships
resume writing fee
Networking meals and events
Anything I'm missing?

Phone and fax expenses
work clothes
tolls, parking, etc.

DH was unemployed and we did this also. In addition, we deducted internet costs because he did a majority of the job search online.

hmm..I wonder if that's legit since the internet wasn't just used for job search.
I was audited once..I never ever want to do that again.

Continuing education (tuitions, fees, books, gas, fares, etc..)
Workshop seminars/employement seminars (with gas, etc...)

correct. my accountant prepared our return for us. you should definitely talk with your accountant about all of these before you claim them.
