possible broken rib
went to the ob for my 36 week check up everything was great , except 2 weeks ago i was suffering from uprespiratory infection and coughing my brains up, i told the doctor about the rib pain i have and he said it could be muscular but since its been 2 weeks it could be a fractured or broken rib, from the weight of the baby and my uterus couching while laying down presses it onto your rib cage, he said after delivery we will do an xray to see what is going on !!

I'm you're hurt and i have to say...I think we are having parallel experiences! I had bronchitis and have been suffering with the rib pain..yesterday, I had spasms all day...and am also on bed rest...I commiserate! I don't mean to hijack, but wanted to tell you you're not alone! Put heat on it, take the Tylenol for the pain and rest!!, feel better!

Same to you, Gloria!! Do the heat and Tylenol and if you are still coughing, plain Robitussin...it's what my dr. ordered!
