Re: Vet visit

I think mine is $45 for an "exam".. but I never just go for that. I go annually for exam+vaccines+heartworm test, so it ends up being like $200.

ETA: I saw my bill over the weekend & the exam was actually $56.

Re: Vet visit

I am curious how much everyone pays for the "exam". My parent's pay a lot less for an exam at their vet then my dog's old vet and the new vet I just switched my dog to.

Re: Vet visit

We just went not that long ago.

Office visit was around $50, but...

Each shot was $30, the heartworm blood test was $35ish, her stool sample exam was $35ish, and there was a $5 fee for medical waste. And her heartworm pills were $35.

Total visit came to $225ish.

HTH!

Re: Vet visit

Wow to all of you!

I'm paying $65-$85 per visit when I called around. PER cat and I have two! Chat Icon

I found a coupon online for a free visit for up to two animals in your home from VCA (i think i got that right) and only had to pay for their rabies shots.

Re: Vet visit

We pay $55 for the visit itself but our bill is always around $250 for the shots and the flea/tick/heartworm treatment.

Re: Vet visit

I am a little surprised to see how much the cost of the exam varies. The cost for vaccinations do not seem to vary but the exam really does...
