I ask because this was my first time TTC after my D&C and it didn't work If it was my most fertile time then I'm really nervous for future months

I've heard this as well but it wasn't exactly true for me. I didn't get pregnant on the first cycle after the D&C but I did on the second cycle. Best of luck!

I'm not sure. I was not allowed to "try" for 3 months after the d&c :( So I don't know what would have happened if we tried right away.

We started trying last month, which was cycle 4 after the loss. I did not get pregnant.

I got pregnant on the first try with the miscarriage with a lot less effort than last month.

So for me, I am not as fertile I guess? Or just had good luck the first time? I'm not sure what to think.

i have read that you are more fertile after a D&C b/c your body is more ready and open to accepting another pregnancy. we got pregnant on the first full cycle after my d&c (i had to wait til I got my period after the procedure then we were allowed to try again)... i also have really irregular periods and based on when we conceived (i didn't chart that month) i really think having everything cleaned out of my uterus made me ovulate earlier (i usually ovulate around cd 40 and that cycle it was around cd 20).

I've heard that but not from a reliable source. I've had two m/c and didn't get pregnant again in the first couple of cycles trying, so not true for me.

I didnt only hear this for D&C's, Ive heard this for anytime that you were pregnant with a child whether it was born or miscarried, you are most fertile weeks after. I told dh to stay far far away after dd was born
