Making your own food?
I am trying to decide between registering for the Beaba or the Breeza.
Does anyone have any experience with either? Pros/Cons, comments, suggestions? TIA!

I have the Beaba and like it. My only complaint is that you can't match a huge amount at once. It works for me though.

IMO if you are expecting twins there's no way you will be able to make enough with the Beaba (I'm not familiar with the other one but assume its similar capacity). Get/use a 9 or 10 cup cuisinart and a steamer basket. Register for the food storage containers (like the 2oz cubes), I used those for a while. I made my twins baby food and I loved it. Let me know if you have questions.

Re: Making your own food?
I had only 1 baby and I didn't bother with the beaba or anything else.
I would steam or roast the veggies or fruit, then use the magic bullet to puree, and put into the 2oz cubes. Freeze anything that would not be eaten in 3 days. Very easy and I could make as much or as little as I wanted.

Me too. The size is fine for me but I only have one DD. I know you dont NEED it, but it sure does help. only a few things to wash. The best part is, i dont have to watch it. if i used a regular steamer, I know my pots would be burnt. i always forget about it on the stove. With the beaba, i just steam it, leave it and come back when im ready. then dump in and puree. easy clean up to boot!

Re: Making your own food?
At the advice of BTDT moms on here I skipped out on purchasing an acutal food machine to make my food. Instead I steam everything in a steam insert and than puree in the food processor.
I bought 2 trays of the storagae containers and than use empty ice cube trays for the rest (freeze and than pop out the cubes and store in large ziplocks). I freeze and take out what I need the day before or the morning of.
I throw a cube of food into a little sauce pan add a little water and just warm it up until it is completely melted and ok to give to DS.
ETA: Depending on how many different kinds of veggies and fruits you are making your supply varies. I usually buy $15-$20 of organic fruits and veggies and it lasts about a month.

I don't have twins but I agree. I have the Beaba and while I love it I really only used it to make veggie combos or small amounts of fruit that I know DS didn't love but I wanted him to have. For applesauce, pears, and meats meals I used to cook it in a regular pot and then just blend with my immersion blender. I loved making all of DS' food and I feel that bc I was controlling the thickness I was able to get him on table food at 9mths. So awesome......So many great recipes on these websites.

ETA: I just read my post and didn't like the way it sounds. I do love it especially bc I can walk away from it and not worry about it burning. Also its great for defrosting food/reheating. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Re: Making your own food?
while i agree about the portion size not being good for twins....there is an upside to this product (beaba).
I got it (they carry it at bbb and you can use a non-expired bed, bath & beyond coupon to help with price).
I am NO chef....i can make a few 'standards', but steaming veggies, sauteeting them - that's just not me. I wouldn't know where to begin or end with that stuff - so the beaba made my life MUCH easier. The book it comes with tells you exactly what to do, it's not TOO time consuming and doesn't take up much space. For me - again, this was key - we have NO counterspace in our kitchen (literally).
for me - it was a wise choice & i'd buy it again if i could go back in time..
just wanted to give you another 'side'...
