Fireplace smell
Can't seem to get rid of that smoke/ ash smell now that were not using it. I've cleaned/ vac inside it already, was planning to have it professionally cleaned before we start using it in the fall. Is there anything I could do before than?

Re: Fireplace smell
I had a chimney person come and tell me to put kitty litter down at the bottom to absorb any smells, it happens usually when its damp out or there's a draft.

Re: Fireplace smell
Our chimney guy told me one year to put a bowl of white vinegar in the fireplace. I do it each spring, and it works. Make sure all the ashes are cleaned out as well.
