Sharps
anyone take injections regularly?
How do you dispose of the sharps container?

My doc won't accept them and he suggested a hospital.
He said there are new regulations with accepting sharps.

Call the Department of Sanitation for your town. In Islip (as of 2 years ago) you just had to put them in a hard plastic bottle with a little bleach and mark as sharps. Then you put it out with your regular garbage.
Mine were Lovenox prefilled syringes which are expensive to dispose of so no one wanted to take them. I was finally able to get rid of almost 2 years of them in the regular trash.
