Looking for a Jogger... Swivel wheel or fixed wheel?
My daughter is seven months old now and I am looking to purchase a jogger for the summer/fall. I like the idea of the swivel wheel in certain models, but ive been told a fixed wheel will be better if I plan to jog with her?
Does anyone have a jogger they use often? If so, what brand do you have and what would you suggest? Thanks! :)

Re: Looking for a Jogger... Swivel wheel or fixed wheel?
I had expedition and traded up to BOB. BOB is awesome. I couldn't deal with a fixed wheel. I think both have the option to fix the wheel. I used thee expedition so much the wheel fell off the bob has an adjustable alignment to prevent that...

If you are going to job, use a "real" jogging stroller.
Regardless of which jogger you get, you MUST have a fixed wheel while jogging if you have a swivel wheel. There is usually a lock on the swivel wheel to lock it in a fixed position.

It's expensive, but I love my BOB. It folds up so easy and handles great. Pretty sure my wheel can either be placed as a swivel or fixed.

BOB Revolution, LOVE this stroller!!! I lock the wheel so it's fixed when I run and leave it unlocked for walking.

Re: Looking for a Jogger... Swivel wheel or fixed wheel?
another BOB here! Love it - best baby purchase ever! I would rather take my BOB duallie out than my baby trend single.
If running, fixed front wheel is the way to go. If you want to turn you are supposed to push down on the handle (to do a wheelie) and turn that way. But I actually leave the BOB on swivel...it's so steady there are no problems with the front wheel staying straight (others had front wheels that flipped around).

I love the BOB too. I don't fix the wheel either when I run. I tried running with the fixed wheel, but it was such a PITA to turn. I'm not a fast runner, but I've had no issues running races with the swivel wheel.
