Team green spinoff
I am team green-DH is just along for the ride.
I'm hoping I'll be able to hold out, but we'll see, everyone who knows me expects me to cave
Part of me wants to find out so badly-and the fact that the information will be RIGHT there at my level II tomorrow is killing me.
I feel like I'm pretending to be Amish-denying the existence of this technology

Re: Team green spinoff
There are some days when I do think about finding out -- only recently when we were coming up with names. Thinking of one name for a child you know the sex of is tough, but having one for each just in case can be a PITA!
But at almost 37 wks, I've made it this far and I'm going to keep going. DH and I are very excited for that moment in delivery, and to be able to tell all the family & friends.

Re: Team green spinoff
I thought I would cave as well. We considered a gender reveal at my shower, but at 30 weeks I honestly reached the point where I don't want to know what this baby is until I can see him/her. I feel like it would be weird to know the gender now and call the baby him or her.
Good luck! You can do it!

Re: Team green spinoff
I was team green for my two and it was the best thing ever! Not only hearing "it's a girl!" in the or, but having dh announce it to our families waiting in the waiting room. I am the team green president!

DH wants to know as well. he keeps telling me he is going to have the dr tell just him. I will never let it happen, then he will slip!
I hope I have the strength to make it as well

Re: Team green spinoff
I was team green the second time around because DH really wanted it that way. There were times I was so tempted to find out but in the end, I am so glad I didn't. Hearing them announce the gender and the surprise was totally amazing. be strong!!!

Re: Team green spinoff
some days i wanna know soo bad! and im ready to give up...
but honestly im never surprised about ANYTHING! i usually figure stuff out and investigate a little to much and ruin all surprises!! so this is exciting that it is the one thing i will know is def going to be a surprise!!
ive def tried to figure it out on the sono's! lol still no clue!
hold off you can do it!!! just think how amazing the moment is when your LO is born and they tell you what it is!!

Re: Team green spinoff
With 1 week left, I am DYING to know what we are having although part of me thinks it's 90/10 a boy because of how I am carrying. I wish I was completely split down the middle but between everyone I know and random strangers always saying "BOY" I am pretty much convinced it's a boy. We shall see...

Re: Team green spinoff
Don't worry, over time it'll become easier. We had the Dr. write in an envelope the sex and its right in our dresser (you can imagine how hard it was at first not to open it but so far so good) We plan to bring it to the hospital and open it up after the delivery.

Re: Team green spinoff
I don't want to know what the twins are, my DW does, but will respect my wishes. I also know that she will slip if she know. However, my Aunt I know can keep a secret and we have decided to let her know bc she REALLY wants to know. So we think we will have the sono tech write it down and put it in an envelope at our 20w.
