It may be the booze talking, but I feel so blessed to have twins...

My boys will be 18 months in a week and a half. It has been soooooo hard in so many ways being a twin mommy. The amount of work, worry, etc is exponential when you have two at once. You compare every little thing and worry worry worry. You are a referee 24/7. Two sets of clothes, double laundry, twice as much food (my kids are pigs lol)!!! But when I look at them together, and I picture them as adults, as twin brothers...I just can't imagine anything other than this. I feel like the hardest working luckiest person on earth. NO ONE, except other twin moms, can understand what it is like. We are all members of a very exclusive, most blessed community and we should all feel like rock stars every day, even the bad days when we feel like pulling our hair out. So a toast to all of us, fighting the good fight every day raising our little ones and trying to instill that they too, are so lucky to have each other!!!!

I agree, my girls are one today and i can't believe how much both they and I have grown this past year, they are truly a blessing and I imagine them as teenagers sharing all the secrets and i am so happy that they will always have each other

I LUV ya girl......I am actually happy there will be a few triplet mommies joining me on here soon.....

I dont know if I would say its awesome....It really is hard...having twins would have been so much easier in alot of ways.... I would have had to go out and buy a dam surburban for starters....LOL I am glad they have each other to play with and growup with.....it just sucks sometimes I just cant go out by myself with all 3 of them bc I need an extra set of hands to keep an eye on them....there are times where I really wish I only had ONE kid bc life would be so much easier but that wasnt the cards I was dealt....for some stranger reason the big MAN upstairs thought it would be fun to give me 3 kids at once.....I am greatful that I was able to have 3 healthy kids but somedays I wanna kill them. I really dont like to talk so much about me and the kids on here bc people always have a comment like..."You should be happy you have 3 kids" You should be happy they are all heathly" and I know how lucky I am but the comments I get many time being out with them just annoy me..... YES they are freaking triplets...NO they arent idential....Yes 2 girls and a boy....They are the SAME age nobody is older and YES I know they are big for triplets....LOL

I agree with you Carolyn. Although there are a lot of days filled with fighting and crying, there are so many more moments when they just talk to each other, play together, laugh together. THey are each other's best friends at 2.5 years old. I hope that even though they are a boy and a girl they will stay so close.
And they are also an awesome big brother and big sister! I think the fact that they have each other has made the introduction of the baby so much easier for them.

I agree with everything you wrote, and my twins are only 9 months old. But you an already see the bond between them at this age.
My dh has a twin brother and they are so close, even more so now as adults.

I feel the same way! I feel so lucky that I was blessed with twins! I am so proud that I carried them even with all the problems I had it was so worth it.

Can I add...I HATE when people see us out and say double trouble! It annoys me to no end! It is the most annoying phrase ever. I am doubly blessed with my two sweet girls!!

I am only 6 weeks in, but before they were even born I felt lucky and special that I would be able to experience something many do not. Twins are so amazing. And my girls leave me in awe DAILY!
