Raise your hand if you're on bedrest!!
Just wondering who else is in my position... just got put back on bedrest today. So disappointed...
I'm 29 weeks 4 days and am back on bedrest due to preterm labor causing my cervix to be short (2.6).
What about you?

Re: Raise your hand if you're on bedrest!!
I been on bed rest since the beginning of my pregnancy, due to a lot of complications. Bed rest drives you crazy, but I've learned to try to keep busy and stay postitive. I know sometimes it's hard.
I rent netflix/blockbuster movies, catch up on reading all your baby books, read magazines, play computer games, LIfamilies.
I hope you get off bed rest soon.

Re: Raise your hand if you're on bedrest!!
I'm not officially on Bed Rest but I've been on Modified Activity until 16 weeks for a short cervix.
Basically I go to work for a few hours at a time, and spend the rest of the time at home with my feet up. On the weekends, I've been treating it pretty much like actual Bed Rest to be on the safe side.
Every time I try to do too much, my body reminds me.

Meeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!
I have the same thing. I'm 28 weeks and my cervix is 2.6 as well. I"m hoping they will deem in stable when I go back on Tuesday and they will let me return to work. I can't stand this.

Re: Raise your hand if you're on bedrest!!
I was on bed rest from 12 weeks, just last week my doc said to start a modified bed rest (take care of my son, etc), so I'm going to the doc tomorrow to see if I can come off (18 weeks Friday), so 6 weeks so far.
I was on bed rest with DS for 5 weeks in early pregnancy, too. Its a really tough time of year to be on bed rest. Hot, beautiful outside, sunny, etc. But I found going outside sometimes broke it up a bit. I'm also working from home which helps some, although sometimes I feel helpless!

Re: Raise your hand if you're on bedrest!!
I am also not on bedrest but on modified activity as a preventive method. I am 27 weeks with triplets; cervix is long and strong so far....Thank God! but with triplets you never know, so I am taking it easy. My day consist of doing some modified activity (a load of laundry, washing dishes, cooking, going for a pedicure, going out of the house for 1 hr or so, etc) but as soon as I do that activity, I lay down on my left side for about an hour or longer and drink a bottle of water

Re: Raise your hand if you're on bedrest!!
Im not anymore since I had my babies but I was and it su6ked!!!!!!
at 16 weeks i was on limited activity. Work and limited stuff and them home to sit on my as$. At 31 weeks I was put on full bed rest (I was still allowed to be mobile and be on my feet a total of 2 hours a day) due to preterm labor caused by a UTI.
I know its boring but u gotta do whats best for ur LO.
