I do balanced billing any pay $125 a month all year. We keeps the CAC very cold and also run a pool filer.

I think the estimate for the CAC alone is about $90 a month extra. We do balanced billing since my house runs on electric (stove, dryer, etc) and we have an inground pool also .... so when we installed the estimated increase (installed through DH's company, so a coworker told us) we were told was about $90/mo.

My parents just got their first bill since the CAC was on. Just over 4000 sq ft, $450.

We do not do balanced billing, we pay actual usage (we read the meter).
With the CAC running 24/7 from May through September last year (we never turned it off), our bill never went above $150 p/month. Our unit is 18 SEERS.

I don't do balanced billing.
Normally, with no CAC, we are anywhere from $75-$200 a month...
With the CAC on, we've gone as high as $400 a month, but mostly in the $300+ a month range.

30' ceilings......3 zones. 3500 square feet.
:::sigh::::
Last year we didnt realize we had Peak/non peak bills.
it was $600, $800, then $1400.
a month!
This year we will keep the AC off unless its a hot hot day, then we will elave it at 78.

$270 a month on balanced billing. When we first bought the house and didn't do balanced billing it was $500 a month

We have two sep zones that run all day (someone is home all day & the temp stays set at 76) without balanced billing we pay about $350ish a month from June to September, the it goes down about $150 the rest of the year.
