Interview by phone

I was offered this as they said I lived far
( suffolk to WhitePlains)

Has anyone ever had an Interview for a teacher by phone?

I had a preliminary interview via phone once. I know it's not ideal, but it can sometimes be to your benefit!

Some of the tips I would give:

- Sit in a quiet room/space with all of your materials in front of you. (resume, portfolio, etc)
- Shower and get dressed as if you were going to an interview to get yourself in the right mindset.
- Before my interview I made little flashcards with the education "buzzwords" (the little words I wanted to make sure I dropped) and left them spread out in front of me to trigger my memory.
