Medela Freestyle or I would also recommend renting the hospital grade Medela Symphony.

You must get a hospital grade. Symphony all of the way!!! The other pumps aren't made for such frequent pumping.

I have a Medela Pump in Style from 2007. I used it for 8 months with my oldest daughter back then (pumped 1-2 times per day only).
Used the same one with DD#2. JUST retired that thing on Tuesday...exclusively pumped for one year with DD.
It was perfectly effective, no hospital grade needed here. Plus, mine was probably not nearly as efficient anymore since it was previously used and 3 years old. I had a very good supply though.

Medela Pump in Style Advanced. Used it to EP both my kids for one year each. No way could I afford the hospital grade..to rent or buy, for that long of a time period. No complaints about my pump..worked great.

Same here...Medela PISA & it lasted for 2 kids; exclusively pumping for a year each. I also got the pump used; very effective & no problems.

I used this pump as well.. I exclusively pumped for the first 7 weeks before DS latched. I had no problems whatsoever!
