haven't delivered there yet, but i dont think he can stay overnight. maybe if you have a private room.

I don't think they can stay overnight.
I delivered my ds there in '09 and had a private room. My dh didn't stay overnight but he was there until 10ish each night. I don't remember anyone checking to see if he left either.
