When personal situations force you to postpone TTC....

Hi everyone! I'm kind of new here, and figured this is the best place to vent! DH and I had originally planned to TTC in June, but because of some situations that occurred, we both knew we needed to postpone. Things are much better now, and although I don't want to TTC right now, I do want to start at least by December/January. The problem now is that any time I bring it up to DH, he gets weird talking about it and keeps saying, "We'll see when we get there". He wants to make sure his health is back in order by the time we start, which I completely agree with, but I see all these people getting pregnant and having babies, and I guess it gives me baby fever. What's the best way for me to approach him with a serious conversation about when we really can TTC? I'm currently on BCP, so I had planned on stopping that few months before TTC.

Mine was fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of not have enough money, fear of my job not being happy with me taking maternity. We actually postponed for 5 months and now I regret it.

For us its finacial stability, we want to be out of debt and have stuff paid off or close to. We have a while before we ttc.

i don't think there is a certain way you can approach him, i would just sit down with him and just straight up let him know you want to discuss TTC and when his thoughts are..and if he's not ready right now for whatever reason when he thinks he would be... just so you know if you are both on the same page.
