NEED QUICK FROZEN BREAST MILK ADVICE
If I just thawed and warmed a bottle of breast milk for DD, how long do I have to use it? I put the bottle in a sleeve for now and we are on our way to church.

24 hours in the fridge, and 2 hours room temp (I think).
I remember once you freeze bm, you follow the same rules as you would for formula.

I use thawed milk in the fridge within 24 hours. I thought if it was warmed up you only had an hour?

Yes I agree with this. Once it is warmed, it should be used within an hour.

I'd smell it, sometimes its still good after an hour of warming it up, especially if you are only warming it to room temp. I think the rules with formula heating and using within an hour are more stringent than with breast milk.

Prior to freezing it, in other words if you had just pumped it the rules are 5 hours on the counter so I would think it would be the same if its' defrosted too, no?
