Do you get maternity leave? How long? Is it paid?

Will you take time off unpaid too?

I get 16 weeks paid. I am sure I will tag on some vacation time also.

I get maternity leave 6 weeks paid if you have a vaginal birth, 8 weeks paid if c section. I took 12 weeks off. Luckily I had a tonnnnn of sick days and they used those. So my 12 weeks off was all paid

Ill be taking 12 weeks after this baby comes too.

We get three weeks paid maternity leave and then you can either return to work, use any sick/vacation time that you have, or take time off unpaid under FMLA.

I would love to take a few months but when we had DD I only took about 5 weeks and then started working from home until DD could start FT daycare.

My Aflac coverage was effective July 1, so if we conceive after August 1st then I will get paid when I stay overnight in the hospital and also for my time that I am out on maternity leave up to 6 or 8 weeks depending on the type of birth.

I only have my vacation time (2 wks) & disability which is 6 wks and it pays diddly squat!

DH & I have discussed that I will prob not be going back to this job. I will be a SHAM for a few months and then work part time.

you can take up to 12 weeks BUT of those 12 weeks...
6 paid if vaginal
8 are paid if c section
the remaining weeks are no pay... needless to say, i won't be out a full 12 weeks...6 weeks with no paycheck ain't gonna help pay the mortgage. but i will suck it up for maybe 2 weeks

I get 6 weeks with a vaginal birth and 8 weeks with a c/s. I am hoping that I get pregnant between now and October, that way I can just take the remainder of the school year off and have the summer too. We'll see how that works out!

I only get paid for the time I have accrued up to 12 weeks. I am allowed to take up to 2 years, but after 12 weeks - you are on your own for $$. The most I have seen anyone take off thus far is 8 months.

I get 6 weeks for vag 8 for c. However the first week is unpaid or vaca time. I plan to take 12 weeks. Will start putting money away for those extra weeks off once I get the bfp figure 250 a week starting the week I get the bfp till when I give birth to make us ok financially.

I only get disability for 8 weeks since I will have a CS. I wont go back til Sept, if I do and will have lots of unpaid time.

I get 6/8 weeks disability + 4 weeks full pay. I will probably take an additional 2 weeks FMLA to bring me to 12 weeks once the baby is here! I also get 2 weeks off paid prior to my due date.
I don't really want to touch my 5 weeks of vacation, I'd rather save them to spend time with LO throughout the year.

I've been at my job for 5 years so that's what I'm up to next year, just in time for LO in April

I get 6/8 weeks disability and If I want longer I can use vacation time. Since disability stinks, I have the aflac short term disability. So I will actually get pd my full salary while I am home. Best supplemental insurance I ever invested in.

In my position I get even get sicks days so no paid maternity leave. That's why I would really love to have a baby in the summer- as a teacher I wouldnt be working anyway.

I get 60% pay for 6 weeks or 8 weeks depending on delivery. I can take up to 12 weeks off with FMLA but the additional weeks are not paid unless I use my PTO days.
