double stroller ideas??

Hi everyone-
I have g/b almost 5 month old twins and a 2 yr old son. I'm looking for a stroller that would accommodate all three. Im thinking a double stroller with a jump or toddler seat added.
I'm having a hard time finding one that isn't going to be too heavy and that has the seat to add.

Any suggestions????

Re: double stroller ideas??

I have the same age kids, and an older model of this stroller. It sounds like its exactly what youre looking for. My older DS prefers to walk most of the time though.

I have this triple jogger, but it does not fit through doorways. I use it for walks/runs outside.

Re: double stroller ideas??

My b/g twins are 7 months old and my DS is almost 2.5. I have the Valco Tri Mode Twin with the joey seat and I love it! I leave this stroller at home and use it for all our walks. Havent been out with all three alone that I needed to take it in the car so Im not sure how heavy/annoying it would be. The reason I bought it was that I knew I needed something to hold 3 kids but didint want to buy a triple stroller and then have my DS decide he wanted to walk. The joey seat just comes off when he doesnt want to be in the stroller and its the perfect double stroller for my twins. Its very expensive in my opinion to buy new but I bought mine on craigslist and could not be happier with it.

Re: double stroller ideas??

I have the Valco Tri Mode with the Joey seat as well. It's a great stroller. It's really the only "triple" that I found that can easily fit in my car, and through doorways. However, when you do use it for all three, be prepared people will "stare"lol

It's great because like the pp stated it easily turns right into a double.

my DS was 2 1/2 when my twins were born, so he didn't like to go in the stroller much.

i have the city mini with the roller board attachemnt. it is not a seat, just a place for him to stand if he needs a break. it was enough for him...we only use it for big trips....zoo, amusement parks etc.
