1000 Splendid Suns
Has anyone read this book yet? My sister said it is great and can't put it down. It got good reviews.

ETA: I liked it better than Kite Runner (same author)

I read it in one day while stranded in the airport for a delay. Amazing book. that and kite runner are both 2 of my faves.

ETA--i should add it has special meaning for me, though. I read it after leaving my then BF (now DH) when we were long distance. It had flower stains on the pages from flowers he gave me on my trip to see him that i pressed in the book. I wanted to keep it forever, but a friend begged to borrow it, even though she knew the book itself meant a lot to me, and then without my permission, she gave it to someone else and I've never gotten it back. I still hold a grudge about that!

Great book - I could not put it down. It was difficult to read at times though - hard to fathom!
