please share your playroom theme
Starting to think about a playroom...any theme ideas...I have a boy and a girl...if you have pics too that would be great
ETA: What do you think of a beachy/surfer/habiscus theme?? we used to live on the beach and we are doing our basement a little beachy and the playroom is down there? yay or nay?

We did bright colors: yellow walls, blue carpet and red window panels and bean bags. We then hung up disney framed art. It's a fun room.

We will probably do a nautical theme, we have two picture frames and a red model sailboat already, and my dad is working on two needlepoint pieces.

You're suppose to have a theme in a playroom??? We just have our Dining room as their playroom with whatever we put in there. I never even thought of having a theme?

I don't really have a "theme". I wanted it to blend with the rest of the house, so I just used similar colors, and then put the kid stuff in there. Here are some pics:

Your theme sounds cute!
We plan to do a nature theme. The walls are light blue, so I want to do cloud/tree/sun decals, etc.

i would love to have a sesame street theme for our little guy, but i feel like by the time i get it all together, he'll be past sesame street

I love what my sister did...and if I ever own a home and have a play room...I"ll be doing this. She first painted it yellow... and then put tape around the middle of the room, leaving the wall only open for a 4 inch border around the whole room. Then, she had both her DDs stick their entire hands in paint, to have their hand prints as the border. She started with red, then yellow, blue...etc. The kids had so much fun doing it, and it looks super cute. When she took the tape off, it doesn't even look like it's soemthing that she did herself.

What a coincidence! That is my theme too  We, actually, still have remnants of the office our playroom once was. So, they play amongst a futon and framed sports pictures
