Baptism etiquette question
Are you supposed to invite children because technically it is a party for your child. We are trying to keep the list down and my sister is insisting that everyones child should be invited. TIA

Re: Baptism etiquette question
I invited friends and family with kids. These typically are family celebration events - therefore there was no question to me about inviting kids - no matter their age.
Just serve some age appropriate food and have some activities for them to occupy themselves with.

Re: Baptism etiquette question
Every Baptisim/christening that I have been invited too, also included children. Usually, the price for a child is much less than the price for the adults.

Re: Baptism etiquette question
Its kinda of hard not to invite children to a baptism. Like the other poster said kids eat at a cheaper rate.

We invited everyone with their chidlren. I think of a baptism as a family celebration - a place where kids would be.

Re: Baptism etiquette question
I've never been to one where kids are not invited and we had kids at our baptism. I see it as a family affair, kids definitely welcome.

Re: Baptism etiquette question
If you don't want kids there then don't invite them. But probably a lot of people wouldn't come. :\
